Tilapia With An Asian Flair (Microwave)

This is quick and easy (done in the microwave) and very tasty. Serve with steamed rice and broccoli. (cook rice before putting fish in microwave, as it only takes 5 minutes).

Ingredients

SAUCE

4 Tbsp
orange juice
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 Tbsp
hoisin sauce
2 tsp
sesame oil
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
2 tsp
minced garlic

FISH

4
tilapia fillets
2 Tbsp
thinly sliced green onions

Step-By-Step

1SAUCE: In a small bowl, whisk together all of the sauce ingredients.
2Coat a 9 x 9-inch glass baking pan with non-stick cooking spray. Place fillets in pan side by side and pour sauce over them, tipping pan to distribute the sauce all around. Sprinkle green onions over fish. -
3Cover pan with plastic wrap (leave one corner open to vent). Microwave on high for 5 minutes. (If you microwave doesn't have a revolving plate, turn pan a quarter turn halfway through cooking time.)
4Remove plastic wrap and serve, putting a little of the sauce on each fillet.
