Hungry for some great seafood? Then you need to try this easy, tasty rice, shrimp and crab recipe.
For more than 30 years I have made this and it has become my signature dish. I have shared it with coutless peoples who love it as much as I do.
Most of the time I do not put in the crab meat as it is pretty expensive. Using just shrimp is wonderful in itself. I suppose you could use crawfish in the place of shrimp.

Ingredients

3/4 c
butter or margarine
1 c
finely chopped onions
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
1 can(s)
french onion soup
1 can(s)
diced rotel tomatoes & chilies
3 lb
cleaned and deveined shrimp
2 c
fresh crabmeat, optional
1 1/2 c
white rice, uncooked

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Put butter into a large oven proof Dutch oven pot and melt in oven.

When butter is melted, remove pot from oven and add all remaining ingredients. Stir to mix well.

Cook until rice is tender, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stir every 30 minutes so mixture does not stick.
