Ingredients

5-6 medium
potatoes
1 3/4 c
chicken broth, low salt
2
onions, yellow, medium
1 1/2 c
evaporated milk
1/4 tsp
salt
1/8 tsp
pepper
1/8 tsp
thyme, dried
1
celery stalk chopped
2
carrots, chopped
2 slice
bacon, cooked

Directions Step-By-Step

Bring chicken broth and milk to boil, add potatoes, cover and cook 15 min or until tender. Add salt, pepper, and thyme. This is a good time to add other vegetables. Last thing to do is mash potatoes and then add green onions

After the initial boiling it is best to cook on low till well combined, about 40 minutes
