DAYLE's Notes:

Husband "Loves Strawberries" - always bringing them home. Had about a cup of leftover ones cut-up w/sugar, it was a 98 degree day and felt like having a salad, instead of cooking a big hot meal that day. Having some leftover grilled steak, my mind kicked into gear and used those berries to make a dressing for a salad. Thought my husband was going to loose his mind over how delicious it turned out .... "two" days later he requested that I put it together again, only used chicken that time.

Directions

1
In a small bowl mix together and blend the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk and sugar.
2
Add and stir in the strawberries ... next add the lemon juice and chipotle pepper ... stir and mix all together. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use.
3
SALAD BOWL:
In "two" individual bowls or "one" medium-large bowl, place cut-up lettuce ... followed by the onions, squash slices, avocado, nectarines and either chicken or steak slices ... ladle the Fresh Strawberry Dressing over the salad bowl fixings ... and serve.
