Heidi's Story

My husband loves traditional stroganoff, but I don't like the heaviness of it! I created this and he no longer misses his old-fashioned favorite!

Ingredients

1 lb
ground lean turkey or chicken
1/2
onion, diced
1
garlic clove, minced
1 c
sliced mushrooms
2 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
2 c
chicken broth
1 c
plain, nonfat yogurt

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown chicken or turkey, onion & garlic in a large, nonstick pan. Drain well.

In same pan, saute mushrooms until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.

Return meat mixture to pan. Add worcestershire sauce and chicken broth and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in yogurt. Serve over rice or egg noodles.
