Greek chicken is one of my all time favorite meals. This one is very close to the Greek Chicken made in Greek restaurants throughout the world. It's a classic that everyone should know how to make. Enjoy!

Ingredients

4-6
chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
1/2 c
olive oil
2 Tbsp
garlic, minced
3 Tbsp
lemon juice & zest (if you wish)
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
thyme, dried
1 tsp
oregano, dried

Step-By-Step

1Cut each chicken breast into half, or you can leave them whole if you wish.
2Place the chicken into a rectangular oven dish.
3In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice & zest, salt, pepper, thyme and oregano.
4Pour the mixture over chicken.
5Cover with aluminum foil.
6Bake at 350 degrees for about an hour. Check chicken often to make sure it is done.
7This is best served with rice and/or oven potatoes and some pieces of feta cheese on the side.
