Found this recipe through Pinterest. What's better than Jambalaya that cooks itself? Great flavor. Shrimp (raw) can be added if desired in the last half hour of cooking.

Ingredients

boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut up in small pieces
1 lb
andouille sausage, sliced
1 can(s)
28oz diced tomatoes

large onion, chopped

large green bell pepper, chopped
1 c
chopped celery
1 c
chicken broth
2 tsp
dried oregano
2 tsp
dried parsley
2 tsp
cajun seasoning
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp
dried thyme
1 c
instant rice

Step-By-Step

1Place all ingredients except rice in slow cooker. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours
