Easy Chicken Potpie

When Turkey goes on sale (Nov and Dec)I make this potpie with leftovers, and freeze them, for easy pre-made lunches.

pinch tips: How to Debone a Chicken


1 lb
cubed chicken or turkey
15 oz
can veg-all, or you can use 1 bag frozen veggies
10 3/4 oz
can cream of chicken soup
premade pie crust

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 350.
In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, veggies, and cream of chicken soup.
Place a pie crust in a deep dish pie pan.
Smooth to fit.
Pour in chicken mixture.
Top with other pie crust.
Crimp around edges to seal.
Cut three slits into crust in the middle
Bake for 20 minutes.
If you are making the pies to be frozen. I have found that it is best to cut the slits before freezing. Then I wrap the pies in plastic wrap.
Pies can be baked frozen, just allow extra cooking time.
