Chicken Marengo ( Easy Low-Calorie Style )

This recipe was handed down to me from my mother inlaw, it's been a family favorite for years, I hope you all enjoy it.

Ingredients

3 lb. cut up fryer
1 can tomatoe soup
salt and pepper to taste
1 can golden mushroom soup
4 medium sliced onions
1/2 cup white wine

Directions Step-By-Step

If desired remove fat and skin from chicken.

Put chicken, sliced onions, tomatoe soup, golden mushroom soup and wine into a large casserole dish. Salt and pepper to taste. Bake covered at 325 for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Do not open oven. Serve with rice.
