this batter works on onion rings
fish,and more. on the chicken bites try adding a picnch of powderd ginger To the Batter It Tasts Good

Yummy! This simple batter is sooo delicious. I upped the amounts of seasoning a bit and it turned out perfectly.

Keep in mind that your chicken pieces will need to be small enough to cook properly in the oil. If the pieces are too large, the tempura batter will burn before the chicken is done.

 

Directions

take a large mixing bowl add all dry ingredients,
then add the water, mix until thick enough to coat
mixing utensil

deep fryer or frying pan with 1 to 2 inches of canola oil is what I use, Take Chicken Breast Boneless Preferred, Cut Into Bite sized pieces,

heat oil to 350. Then take a fork and pick up chunks and dip 1 at a time. place in fryer until all
have a nice golden brown appearance.

Congratulations Ralph! I made this and onion rings for lunch today! Both came out great!!! (I had some cooked chicken, and so I used that instead of raw... and it worked fine).

My chicken turned out good. However, I had to add extra water to the flour mixture to get the batter.
