thanks to a couplw recipes right here on JAP i came up with this recipe i added some stuff t make it mine... hubby even ran to store so i could make it...taken pic when it comes out of oven

hickory bacon
1 lb
ground... beef,turkey,pork or combo of all
1 medium
1/2 medium
each red and green bell pepper
8 oz
sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can(s)
[16-18 oz] green beans
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can(s)
[soup can] milk
1 pt
light sour cream
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 pkg
[28 oz] tater tots
1 c
shredded 5 cheese blend[by kraft]
1 tsp
dried chives

Directions Step-By-Step

take 1/2 bacon cut into small pieces put in fry pan cook and stir til crisp.. remove from pan add [i used jus ground turkey] ground turkey... cook and stir to break up... add onion and peppers[meat does not need to be browned when ya add veggies] cook and stir til meat cooked and veggies are tender... add cooked bacon
spray a 9x13 glass bakin dish... add meat to pan spread out evenly in same fryin pan add other 1/2 of bacon that is cut up in lger pieces into fryin pan ya jus used when bacon is crisp add mushrooms... stir well to get some bacon grease on all cook bout 10 min add garlic powder and green beans stir well
while mushroom is cooking ... take mushroom soup,milk, and sour cream and put in med size bowl....whisk to blend well...pour 1/2 over ground meat and veggies.....
once mushroom mixture is ready evenly put on top of soup mix...put 2nd 1/2 soup over mushrooms
now sprinkle tater tots over this then the cheese is sprinkled on[here u can cover it bake within 24 hrs] for 60 min at 350 turn oven as high as it will go bake 10 min there[to crisp up tater tots] remove from oven sprinkle chives on top slice and serve after ya wait bout 10 min.... we had this with fresh fruit salad...
