Ingredients

6
cube steaks
1 large
onion
1 c
flour
3 c
beef broth
1 can(s)
tomato paste
1 can(s)
diced tomatoes 28 oz can
3
cloves of garlic minced
2 tsp
salt
2 tsp
pepper
2 tsp
garlic powder
1 pkg
onion soup mix
1/2 c
olive oil

Step-By-Step

1mix salt, pepper and garlic powder together and season the cube steaks. Dredge in flour and place in heated skillet with oil. brown on both side and remove.

2add onion and garlic to skillet and cook briefly then add tomatoes, beef broth, onion soup mix and tomato paste. bring to a simmer and add cube steaks back to the sauce. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. stir occasionally

3Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
