Ingredients

4
chop steaks
3/4 bottle
merlot wine
1
sweet onion i.e. maui, walla walla, vidallia
1 lb
mushrooms, sliced any variety you choose
3 Tbsp
olive oil
1/2 tsp
granulated garlic
salt and pepper
1 c
beef stock, unsalted
1 Tbsp
corn starch

Step-By-Step

1Season Chop Steaks with salt, pepper, and Granulated Garlic

2Heat large skillet add Olive Oil, Quick Sear Seasoned Chop Steaks on both sides and remove from skillet

3Add onion, mushrooms, saute 5 minutes on medium heat.

4Return steaks to skillet, add enough Merlot to cover steaks, mushrooms and onions

5Simmer 40 minutes

6Add beef stock, return to simmer 5 minutes

7make a corn starch slurry with corn starch and water to thicken gravy, add to desired thickness
