Don’t be afraid of the strange name, this is a popular Danish recipe. It’s a really tasty dish that most kids enjoy, perhaps in part because of the funny name. It’s quick, easy, and cheap to prepare Serve with noodles or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

1/3 lb
bacon, cut into squares
2 large
yellow onions, sliced
1/2 lb
lean ground beef
1 can(s)
(15 oz.) diced tomatoes
1 c
half and half
1/3 lb
cocktail sausages (little smokies)
salt and pepper, to taste

Step-By-Step

1Fry bacon until browned, and place on a plate when done.
2Brown the sliced onions in the bacon fat.
3Add ground beef.
4Add bacon, and tomatoes.
5Add half-and-half.
6Add salt and pepper.
7Add cocktail sausages.
8Cover and simmer for 20 min.
