A little bit off the beaten path from ordinary meatloaf. Great taste. Leftovers are great for sandwiches.

Ingredients

2 lb
ground chuck
1 1/2 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
2 c
soft bread crumbs
1/2 c
chopped celery
1/2 c
chopped onion
1
egg
1 Tbsp
worcestershire sauce
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
1 can(s)
8 oz. tomato sauce

Step-By-Step

1Combine meat, 1 cup of the cheese, bread crumbs, celery, onion, egg and seasonings; mix lightly. Shape into 9-inch round loaf in a shallow baking dish--I use 9x13.
2Bake at 350 for 1 hour; pour off drippings.
3Pour tomato sauce over meatloaf; top with remaining cheese. Continue baking 15 minutes.
4Let meatloaf stand 5 minutes before slicing.
