I grew up making this steak my Dad taught me to make this. It is so easy to make. It is good served with a Chef's salad and hand cut french fries.

Ingredients

1 lb
round steak, cubed
2 Tbsp
shortening
1 Tbsp
flour
1/2 c
catsup
1/2 c
water
3 Tbsp
soy sauce
1/8 tsp
pepper
1
beef bouillon cube
1 clove
garlic minced
1/2 c
finely chopped onion
1 box
mushrooms, fresh
2 large
peppers cut into rings
1 medium
onion cut into rings

Step-By-Step

1Brow beef cubes in shortening, remove from pan.
2Blend in flour to make a smooth paste
3Add catsup, water, soy sauce pepper, bouillon cube, garlic, ans onion bring to a boil. Reduce heat simmer for 20 minutes
4Add beef to sauce cook until tender.
5Add mushrooms, pepper, and onion rings cook for about 10 minutes or until crisp tender. DO NOT ADD SALT OR ACCENT.
6Serve immediately with hot fluffy rice.
