Easy Pot Roast

I hate the texture of boiled potatoes, so I always make "semi-homemade" mashed potatoes on the side when I serve this roast.

Ingredients

1 medium
boneless chuck roast
1 lb
baby carrots (add more or less carrots, if desired)
2 pkg
au jus gravy mix
1/2 c
worcestershire sauce
water
salt and pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Pour about an inch of water and the worcestershire sauce into crock-pot. Then add roast.

Sprinkle roast with Au Jus gravy mix and salt'n'pepper.

Put lid on crock-pot and cook on low for about 8 hours.

Pour baby carrots over the roast. Sprinkle with salt'n'pepper.Cook for about 2 more hours or until carrots at your desired crispness/softness.

If desired, you can drain the juices into a hot skillet and whisk in a little corn starch to make a thicker gravy.
