This is very easy and satisfying to a dieter. I eat this once or twice a week. You can enjoy the taste of a Big Mac with no carbs.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef(season with salt and pepper)
lettuce leaves
1 small
pickles
1/4 c
onion
thousand island dressing(fat free)
low fat cheese

Directions Step-By-Step

Brown ground meat or you can make patty.

Put lettuce ,chopped pickle and onion in a bowl.

add meat mixture or broken up patty to the bowl

Top with dressing and cheese.

Mix all together and enjoy!

Wow....awesome. So glad for you both. I had gastric bypass in 2006 because nothing else was working for me. I still eat, but very little. Keep up the good work!

I'm so glad that you and your husband enjoy this dish. It is so wonderful to be able to enjoy the taste without the carbs. My daughter and I have continue on our journey . She has lost a total of 245 lbs. in 2 years. She is going for 20 more . I have been maintaining my weight for 1 1/2 years now. This dish is a daily in our menu for the week.

I have made these numerous times. I DO add some diced up American cheese though.. I call it Big Mac Salad. Great, isn't it? I even got DH (who looooves his Big Macs, but eats them rarely) to try it and he loved it!
Do not forget a sprinkling of sesame seeds though..."two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun".

Just saw this...sounds wonderful!! I love Big Macs, but obviously they are not the healthiest sandwich!! Also, the price of them here is $3.79 for just the sandwich!! I love this idea, probably not much more than that price to make this whole dish!! Thanks Betty!!
And I'm on Weight Watchers too, so this is really WW friendly!
