Dr. Taz's Golden Milk

- 2 c
- piece of fresh ginger, chopped or 1 teaspoon dried ground ginger root
- whole cloves
- 1-2 tsp
- ground turmeric (i used 1 teaspoon of freshly grated turmeric)
- 1 tsp
- honey (best quality!)
- 2 tsp
- milk (or dairy sub: coconut, almond, for ex.)
1Place 2 cups of water in a saucepan. Add ginger root and cloves. Bring to a boil then boil for 2 minutes.
2Pour the contents of the saucepan through a fine mesh sieve into a mug.
3Add ground turmeric, honey, and milk (or milk substitute). Stir until the honey melts.
