Canker Sore or Mouth Ulcer Remedy

Cheryl Chavez

My Grandpa had citrus orchards when I was a child. I LOVED grapefruits (Still do!!) Needless to say, I was always getting canker sores from the acid in the citrus fruit.
My Great-Grandma shared the cure with me and I used it often. It works better and faster than any purchased remedy! (Cheap, too!)

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Put tea bag into cup, add boiling water.

Step 2 Direction Photo

2Allow tea to steep for 5 to 10 minutes. You want a really strong cup of tea. Do not remove the tea bag(I allow mine to cool so that it is easy to drink)

Step 3 Direction Photo

3Drink the tea slowly, swishing each drink around in your mouth before swallowing. (Try to reach all areas of your mouth. . .concentrating on the area with the canker sore or mouth ulcer.)
