Cranberry -Apricot Tea Mix

- 5 oz
- dried cranberries, chopped
- 3 oz
- mediterranean or turkish dried apricots, hopped
- 1 stick
- cinnamon stick, broken into pieces
- 16 to 20
- whole cloves
1Combine all ingredients in a med bowl; mix well Spoon into a 1-pint food storage jar with tight-fitting lid.
2TO MAKE HOT:
3Bring about 2 quarts water to boil in 4 -quart saucepan over high heat. Meanwhile , place content of jar in med bowl; stir and separate fruit. Stir tea mixture into boiling water. Reduce heat: simmer, covered for 10 minutes.
4Remove from heat; let tea steep for 10 minutes. Strain through mesh strainer into mug or cup, pressing fruit against strainer with back of spoon. Serve with honey, if desire. Garnish with mint.
5TO MAKE COLD:
6Same as above,just serve cooled tea over ice with a splash of sparkling water,ad garnish with orange slice.
