Rice pudding, mom's recipe

This is a really old recipe and I had forgotton all about it until my BF's mom was asking about it.
Hunted up the recipe and here it is.

Ingredients

6 c
milk
1 c
white rice, i usually use long grain
1/2 c
raisins
1 c
heavy cream
3 large
egg yolks, beaten
2 tsp
vanilla
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 tsp
cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

Put milk and rice in a heavy sauce pan, bring to a low simmer, stir from time to time, and continue to cook until rice is done. I like a teflon pan the best for this.

In a bowl whisk everything else and stir it into cooked rice.

Continue to simmer until thick enough.

Serve warm or cold.
