In memory of Our Grandma Alvina Brown, She Loved her Bread Pudding.
This is a Simple "Old" Recipe, I dug out of my recipes just his morning. I just wanted Old timey Bread pudding. This is very Good, and Very Easy to make. Plus You have the Memories of the past.
Those, "on the Farm Days" when You made Do with what You had on Hand. Compliments of Granny Brown.

I use Stale bread.
You can add a little Cinnamon if You desire.
We eat this warm with Milk or Cream over top or even Whip cream.
You can also eat this warm with a sprinkleing of Pdr Sugar, or a simple Vanilla or Lemon Sauce over the top.
It's Sooo Good. Hope You'll try and enjoy as much as we do.

TO ALL WHO ASKED FOR THE SAUCE for Bread Pudding;

Simple Vanilla Sauce for Bread Pudding:
This vanilla sauce is ridiculously simple to make yet utterly delicious. Sweet, rich and completely delightful, it’s made with simple ingredients such as butter, sugar, cream and vanilla.

This sauce goes excellent with bread pudding

and different kinds of cakes… In many areas outside of the United States, this kind of sauce is served next to warm crumbles and cobblers.

Ingredients:

•3 tablespoons butter
•¾ cup sugar
•½ cup heavy cream
•pinch salt
•½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Method:

Use a thick-bottom sauce pan, melt the butter and add the sugar, heavy cream and salt.
Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes. After about 5 minutes, add the vanilla extract and take away from the heat.
Serve either warm or cold and pour over your favorite dessert.

NOTE:
This sauce will be "very thin while it's hot",
however once it cools, it will thicken considerably.
Keep this in Mind.
Tip: You can add Rum Flavoring In Place of Vanilla for a Rum Sauce that is to Die for also.
