Ingredients

9-inch unbaked pie shell
4 to 5
fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1 c
granulated sugar
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 tsp
freshly ground nutmeg
1 c
heavy cream

Step-By-Step

1Place the peach slices in the unbaked pie shell in a single layer.
2In a small bowl, mix together sugar, flour and nutmeg. Sprinkle over peach slices. Pour heavy cream evenly over peach slices.
3Bake in a preheated 400-degree oven for 10 minutes. Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake for 50 to 60 minutes longer. Cool pie on wire rack.
4Serve warm with or without vanilla or peach ice cream.
