Making Crumb Crusts

I have a hard time finding these instructions every time I make a Graham cracker or chocolate crust for my pie so thought if I printed it out to put into my recipe book it would always be there for me. I hope it helps you to.

Ingredients

GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST

1 1/2 c
graham cracker crumbs (24 squares)
1/4 c
sugar
1/3 c
butter or margarine, melted

CHOCOLATE WAFER

1 1/4 c
chocolate wafers (20 wafers)
1/4 c
sugar
1/4 c
butter or margarine, melted

VANILLA WAFER

1 1/2 c
vanilla wafers (30 )
no sugar
1/4 c
butter or margarine, melted

CREAM- FILLED CHOCOLATE

1 1/2 c
cream-filled chocolate cookies (15 )
no sugar
1/4 c
butter or margarine, melted

GINGERSNAP

1 1/2 c
ginger cookies (24 )
no sugar
1/4 c
butter or margarine, melted

Directions Step-By-Step

These instructions are for each of the above crumb mixtures.

In a bowl, combine crumbs, sugar and melted butter or margarine; blend well
Press the mixture onto the bottom and up the sides of an ungreased 9-in, pie plate.

Chill 30 minutes before filling or bake at 375* for 8-10 minutes or until crust is lightly browned.
Cool before filling.
