Kathryn Fudgy Smooth Chocolate Pie
I must say that at times when she makes it, it's a bit grainy...
The reason why... is, that she does not disolve enough her sugar so... "be careful" do it by following my directions..
She makes it with a regular pie crust .
I make my crust with chocolate wafers which I believe completes the creamy richness of the pie.
Whip the eggs with the sugar for about 3 minutes then let it stand for about 15 minutes and stir again. Add the flour and stir in the chocolate mixture. Then pour into the pie shell and bake at 350 for about 20-25 minutes. Let it cool.
I love it served with a "mountain" of real whipped cream.
