Fresh Frozen Pumpkin Pie Filling

Ingredients

FOR THE FILLING

6 c
pumpkin, cooked and strained
4 c
dark brown sugar
2 c
light brown sugar
3 1/4 Tbsp
cinnamon
3 1/4 Tbsp
ginger
3 1/4 Tbsp
salt

TO MAKE ONE PIE ADD:

4
eggs
3 c
water

Step-By-Step

1Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2Stir together the filling ingredients.
3Divide equally into 4 air tight freezer safe containers and store in freezer until needed.
4To make one 10" pie, defrost one container and beat together with the milk and eggs.
5Pour into pie shell and bake for 1 1/2 hours until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
