I was given this recipe many years ago, this was part of my therapy to learn how to cook again after I sustain a traumatic brain injury.
2 - 9 inch pie crusts
rolled oats (oatmeal)
1 1/2 c
pinch of salt
semi sweet chocolate chips
1Preheat oven: 350 degrees.... Prepare your bottom crust in pan; spread jam on crust in pan. Set aside.
2Mix together in bowl - dry oats, brown sugar, pinch of salt, & chocolate chips.
Fold in milk & melted butter; spread evenly over jam in pie pan.
3Cover pie with top pie crust....
Bake for 25 minutes & serve with ice cream if desired.
