Apple Pie Smoothie

I love smoothies and the combination of cashews and apples is really nice together. This is quite filling so very little goes a long way. You will need a powerful blender like a Vita-Mix for this recipe so the nuts will ground up fine enough to blend with the liquid ingredients.

Ingredients

1/2 c
raw cashews
2 c
filtered water
8
drops vanilla creme stevia
1 1/2 c
unsweetened applesauce
2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 1/4 tsp
ground cinnamon
1 pinch
coarse sea salt

Step-By-Step

1Add the cashews and water together and blend until you have a creamy white liquid.

2Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until totally incorporated.

3I think you could use Almond milk in this just don't add the water to the recipe as it will be too bland.

4I found that this is much better cold, so you might want to put it in the fridge for a while before consuming.
