ANDREWS'S CRUSTLESS APPLE PIE
|1 large||egg,well beaten|
|1/2 c||brown sugar, light|
|1/2 c||all purpose flour|
|1 tsp||baking powder|
|2 1/2 c||apples,peeled,cored and sliced|
|1/2 c||nuts chopped (opt)|

This is a recipe that is in a Boston Kitchen Cookbook I sent away for many years ago.I have made it many times and my family really loved it.
Place beaten egg in large bowl and add sugar,brown sugar and vanilla.Beat well.
Add flour, baking powder and mix well.
Add apples and mix well by hand.
Add nuts and cinnamon and mix.
Spread mixture in a 9 inch greased, not floured,pie plate.
Ba ke in 350 degree oven for 30 min. Cool. Cut into wedges and serve with icecream or cheese.
