	sugar or artificial sweetener
	several ice cubes
	ice water
	blender or bullet to mix it in

Deneece's Notes:

I am doing P90X and my dad is on kidney dialysis. Both diets are very restricted and so I have to come up with good healthy things to eat! Since I love love love ice cream but its not part of my diet and my dad can no longer have it, i made this one night, since fruit is allowed for both of us! I have made it in many flavors and now i no longer buy ice cream at all since my kids have become addicted to this as well.

All types of frozen fruit work and mixing fruits creates your own flavors! So the possibilities are truly endless!

Directions

Place frozen fruit in blender or bullet

Add 1/2 to 1 packet artificial sweetener or 1/2 to 1 teaspoon sugar (if your fruit is sweet, you can skip this step all together)

Add a few ice cubes

Now add a small amount of ice water, enough so that the frozen fruit and ice can be crushed and blended easier.

Pulse in bullet or blender till fruit and ice are crushed. Now you can add additional fruit or ice water to even out the consistancy. More fruit for a nice thick sorbet consistancy or more ice water for a consistancy more like an ICEE

Pour into serving dishes and enjoy!

YEppers, YUM!! I use to do this a lot with bananas that were getting brown spots. Throw them in the freezer and then make a frozen treat out of them. Thanks for posting this. I had forgotten about it. Sure is a nice summer treat with leftover fruit...Throw it in the freeaer and make this later on. YUM!!
