Honey Vanilla Creme French Toast

This is a great twist on French toast-- This Honey Vanilla Creme Stuffed French Toast is an elegant and delicious sandwich using a classic recipe!
You can use Parisian Almond Creme
coffee mate liquid for the low-fat milk but only use 1/2 cup, not the 1/3 cup.

low-fat ricotta cheese
1/3 c
orange marmalade or your favorite preserves
12 slice
firm day-old french bread cut 1/2- inch thick

1/3 c
1% low-fat milk or 1/2 c. almond creme liquid milk
1/3 c
honey vanilla creme coffee mate liquid coffee creamer
1 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/4 tsp
12 slice
cooked bacon- or pre cooked store bought
1 Tbsp
unsalted butter
maple syrup, heated or not

Directions Step-By-Step

Combine ricotta cheese and preserves in a small bowl; mix well. spread mixture evenly over 6 bread slices. Place 2 or 3 sliced of cooked bacon on top and-Top with remaining bread slices to form sandwiches.
Beat eggs in shallow pan or pie plate, whisk in milk, Coffee-mate and vanilla extract. Whisk in flour and salt.
Heat large skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Swirl butter into hot skillet. dip sandwiches in egg mixture, coating both sides. Cook on each side for about 2 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup.
