Melt one stick of butter in a glass baking dish. I uses 9x13. Add one can of crushed pineapples with juice in the dish. Spoon the cherry pie filling mix over pineapples. Open a box of golden butter cake mix and shake it over the mixure. Cut stick of butter into pats and lay it over the mixture. Bake on 350 degrees for about 35 min or until golden brown.
