Black Cherry Glace for cheesecake or ice cream

One of Mom's "Glace" recipes... this one sounds really delicious...

Ingredients

1 can(s)
pitted black cherries
2 Tbsp
cornstarch
1/3 c
sugar
1/8 tsp
lemon juice, fresh

Step-By-Step

1Strain the juice from the can of black cherries and set aside to thicken into sauce
2In a small sauce pan, add the corn starch to the cold juice, then heat to thicken
3Add the sugar and the lemon and cook for 15 minutes
4Allow to cool then gently add the cherries back into the sauce and spoon over cheesecake or ice cream... or whatever!
