virginia duncan Recipe

This is from the hidden back region of Betty's recipe boxes. Sounds rich and potent. It's hand written so give me an opinion on a couple of directions and tell me what you think it wants.

Thanks Laura. I'm trying to write these old recipes down for my kids so they don't get lost. But either some of these were common knowledge for cooks in their day or my mother-in-law thought she would translate for us. Which I wish she was able to. Any way I spend some time scratching my head over some of the steps. Thanks again.

I understand that one for sure. I had lost my recipe and Stormy had to help me, so just passing on that information. There is always someone on to help. I so love everyone on JAP. It has been alot of fun. I am trying to write a couple recipes down people want, and I just made them up in a pince. but tomorrow is the 3rd cake I have made since I had to make a quick one last month, its just hard for me to get it figured out, lol. have a great evening and fun weekend. xoxoxo Laura
