Combine sugar, milk, corn syrup, pumpkin, and salt in a 3 quart saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and reduce heat to a simmer and heat until 232 degrees on a candy thermometer do not stir. Remove from heat.
Stir in remaining ingredients and let sit until cooled to lukewarm 110 degrees.
Beat mixture until it is very thick and lost some of its gloss. Pour into prepared pan and let harden. Cut into squares
