Ingredients

1/2 c
butter soften
1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/4 c
flour

FILLING INGREDIENTS

1 tsp
vanilla
2
eggs
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
coconut, flaked
1/2 c
almonds, chopped
2 tsp
lemon peel grated
1/8 c
fresh lemon juice

FROSTING INGREDIENTS

2 c
powdered sugar
1 tsp
lemon peeel grated
2 tsp
fresh lemon juice
2 Tbsp
milk

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix butter, 1/2 brown sugar, 1c flour
Press mixture into bottom of ungreaesd baking pan 9×13
Bake @ 350 10 min.

Beat eggs ,1c brown sugar,vanilla until foamy
Beat in 1/4c flour,baking powder,lemon peel,lemon juice ,salt
Stir in coconut an almonds
Spread over crust
Bake 25min
Cool completely

Mix all ingredients for frosting
Use enough milk until frosting is
smooth and of spreading consistency

Cut into bars 3×1 in.
Yields 3 dozen bars
