You can add any flavour instead of lime. Also can colour with a drop or two of food colouring, expecially if the kids are helping.

Ingredients

philladelphia cream cheese
butter, softened
icing sugar (confectioners)
lime
lime zest
cream or half n half
marshmallow cream/fluff

Directions Step-By-Step

I take 1 large package of Philadelphia cream cheese and put it into a bowl with about 125g of butter and mix it until it is smooth and well blended using the whisk on my mixer. I then add a small amount of single cream until it is a bit wet then I add icing sugar - I start with 2 cups and add it a tablespoon a time with the mixer on low - I have fresh limes, which I have squeezed - probably about 1/2 cup or more - also keep some of the zest for decoration. - after you have added some of the icing sugar add some of the lime juice and a whole small jar of marshmallow fluff - ALL OF IT at one time - keep adding the lime juice, icing sugar and cream until you get the consistency you want for your frosting - taste it as you go for the lime flavour - I tend to use very little cream after I have added the fluff - I just add the lime and sugar until it is the flavour I like - I frost the cake then put the zest over the top.
