Wally's 7-Up Pound Cake

Ingredients

2 stick
butter or margarine
1/2 c
shortening, butter flavor5
5 large
eggs
1 1/2 tsp
lemon extract
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
3 c
all purpose flour
8 oz
7-up or sprite

Step-By-Step

1Cream butter, shortening, sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Add lemon and vanilla extracts and beat. Add flour and 7-up or sprite. Spray a 10-inch tube pan with nonstick cooking spray. Cook at 300* for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done. Let sit out for 30 minutes before placing on a plate. Serve 10-12
