Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Another one of my mom's famous desserts. It came from my great grandma and a is a favorite of mine. Enjoy!

Ingredients

2 stick
butter(no substitutions)
1 1/4 c
white sugar
3 large
eggs
1 c
sour cream
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 1/2 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
2 tsp
baking powder
1/4 tsp
salt

FILLING AND TOPPING

1/2 c
sugar
1/4 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
finely chopped nuts of your choice(i love pecans or walnuts)

Step-By-Step

1*****Alternate sour cream and flour when mixing together. Batter will be super thick.*****

2Mix filling and topping ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.

3Cream together the butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after adding each one. Next, add vanilla.

4Add flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt and remember to alternate with sour cream/flour. The mixture will be thick and it's okay.

5Put half of batter in a greased 13X9 baking dish and sprinkle half of filling and topping mix on top of batter. Put the rest of the batter on top and put remaining filling and topping mix on top of cake.

6Bake at 350* for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
