Chocolate-Almond Cake

Chilly Butt

By

It took me years to become a good cook. Many suffered under my well meaning efforts. I proudly say no one, to my knowledge, became ill no matter what I concocted or how miserably I failed. My dad was my 'Go to Guy' for trying anything I plated and served. I can still see his smiling gulps of despair, shaking his head, as he tried to get the next bit down. What a trooper! He loved a good cake, I miss him dearly but I know he'd be proud of me now. Here is another recipe from my parents ziplock bag of treasures.

Enjoy~

When cake is completely cool. Add a dollop of frosting to bottom of cake dish to stop cake from sliding around while you're frosting.
