The original recipe was from the Cake Mix Doctor, using an 18.25 cake mix. The current 15.25 mixes work well in this, without additional upsizing ingredients. So, this recipe is good to go!

Ingredients For all-in-one german chocolate cake

  • 1 pkg
    German chocolate or regular devil's food cake mix, with pudding in it (15.25 oz)
  • 1/3 c
    flour
  • 1 pkg
    coconut-pecan frosting
  • 1/3 c
    oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    water, buttermilk, milk or a combination
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How To Make all-in-one german chocolate cake

    Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and blend well.

    Bake in prepared bundt pan at 350 degrees F for 40 - 50 minutes or until cake tests done.

    Cool in pan for 10 minutes and turn onto a plate.
