I made this recipe for our 2015 Arkansas Reunion and it was a big hit with everyone. The big difference in this and many of the other cookie recipes is I prefer to use EXRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL, instead of butter and a variety of different chocolate chips.

The results are that the cookies are moist chewy and very tasty & have such a nutty flavor. They are irresistible. This recipe is for a large gathering of people , I do have a SMALLER size recipe posted called BLACK WALNUT GHIARDELLI CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES which is a slight variation to this recipe.

Using a tablespoon drop dough onto prepared cookie sheet, and space about 2-3 inches apart.
