Ingredients

1 1/2 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
applesauce, unsweetened
1 c
flax seeds ground
2/3 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 c
granulated sugar
1
large egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
grape nut cereal
2 c
oats, quick cooking
1 c
cranberries, dried

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 375°F.
2Mix flour and backing soda in small bowl.
3In separate bowl, mix applesauce and flax seed.
4Gradually add sugars, beat until well mixed.
5Beat in egg and vanilla.
6Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
7Stir in oats, cereal and cranberries.
8Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
9Bake 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
10Cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheets.
11Cool completely on wire racks
