Mix the crust ingredients well and pat into the bottom of a 9" x 13" pan. Bake the crust for 15 minutes at 350 degrees F. Leave the oven on.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Add the eggs and vanilla and blend. Stir in the coconut and pecans. Spread mixture over the crust and bake 25 more minutes.
