I saw Ina Garten make these on the Food net work channel, and decided to make them for my husband and I for Valentines Day. You can double or triple the recipe depending on how many guest you plan to serve. When you choose the red ripe, plump and juicy strawberries, the chocolate really does bring out the flavor. I Love it that this recipe is so simple, and yet looks so elegant.
Melt the chocolate and cream together in a bowl over simmering water until just melted. Stir and remove from heat. Dip each strawberry in the chocolate and set aside on waxed or parchment paper to dry. Serve when ready.
