Hi Peg, this sounds really good. Just one question. You don't microwave the first 1 cup of chocolate chips, right? You just mix with the rice krispies, but, you do micro the remaining chips. These sound delicious. I don't know where you get so many recipes but I'm so thankful for you that you're so willing to share. I wish you all the best. Lorraine

Hi Lorraine,
Yes you're right... You don't microwave the first 1 cup of chocolate chips that go into the cereal. Thanks so much for your kind words. I joined JAP not long ago as a way to organize my recipes for my two children who have recently "left the nest". Instead of constantly asking me for recipes, they can now just find them here under my name. (Which is why I've been submitting so many recently. lol ) It's a collection of more than 30 years of our family's favorites. Peg

Thanks Peg. Well, I for one just want you to know that I think it is so kind of you to share all these gems. you know your recipes will live on thru others also because as I use them I will be writing in my recipe book used only for my special recipes "contributed by Peg from Just a Pinch" right along with "Grandma Kobzowicz, Grandma Galida, Lorraines, and other's that I have come to love. So keep em coming and thanks for the idea of posting them to my recipe box here for my daughter to have later on when I'm not around. I love that idea so thanks for that too. Lorraine

Thanks so much... I'm honored! Like most home cooks, I had recipes all over the place and it was a wonderful way to get a little better organized as well. My grandmother taught culinary arts for 45 years so the recipe "vault" is endless! lol Peg

I've been looking for a no bake cookie recipe...sans peanut butter, got a granddaughter allergic to cashews, but I'm not feeding her ANY nuts, not worth the risk. I will be trying these as soon as I can get to town for some rice don't happen to have one with oatmeal and choc chips do you?

Hi Joey! I use oatmeal all of the time in my cooking. I have several great recipes but unfortunately, many have peanut butter. This one is my personal favorite. If it's not what you're looking for, let me know. I'm sure that I'll have something else. Peg
