Kim's Notes:

While I was searching for recipes for tarts the other day, I saw a pic of a kiwi dipped in chocolate. So of course, since I LOVE Kiwi I had to try and make my version.

The Beautiful and amazing Kiwi dipped in chocolate.....what more could you ask for!!! Luvin' on the Kiwi and I hope you do too.
Best pairing so far is the salted macadamia nuts on top. Yumm!

Directions

1
Peel the kiwi and then cut in thick slices. Slowly push the sticks in the kiwi, just till you reach the center. When finished place on plate or in a square dish, so that you can freeze them for at least an hour or longer.
2
After Kiwi is frozen, remove from freezer for and prepare your candy chocolate. Melt down discs and then begin dipping kiwi. Make sure that you shake off the excess chocolate because you want a thin layer. Immediately dip or sprinkle your toppings on the chocolate.
3
I tasted them all and even though I loved the look of the toasted coconut, I have to say that the salted macadamia nuts on top tasted the best to me.
4
Kiwi is rich in vitamins (has as much potassium as a banana) and has a low glycemic index which it then is very good for diabetics too. As long as there isn't alot of chocolate on them. :-)
5
Hope you enjoy the wonderful Kiwi snack.

Can't wait to try this. Anything with this many natural ingredients makes a great treat in my book!

Glad you like it Cyd. Hopefully, I can work on some more simple ingredient recipes that keep the veggies and fruits in their most natural state as possible.
