I found this recipe in a telephone book. It looked so easy that I just had to try it. It's really easy to make and so far only rave reviews from family and friends.

Ingredients

1 box
cake mix, german chocolate
1 c
coconut
1 c
pecans, chopped
2 stick
margarine or butter
1 pkg
cream cheese, 8 ounces
1 box
powdered sugar (3 3/4 -4 cups)

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Grease 9x13 pan, preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2
Put coconut in bottom of pan, add pecans.
3
Mix cake mix as directed on box. Pour over coconut and pecans. Do not overfill pan.
4
In bowl, mix 2 sticks of margarine, cream cheese & powdered sugar. Drop mixture by spoonfuls or spread over cake mix.
5
Bake 45 minutes - 1 hour. Do not overbake. Bake on cookie sheet (to catch excess & prevent cake from baking over into oven).
6
Let this molten goodness cool before cutting, so the cream cheese will have time to set or it will be like german chocolate cake pudding...LOL good anyway! May leave cake in pan or turn upside down before serving.
