Jennette's Story

I love Snickerdoodles...the bread version is great!

Ingredients

2 1/2 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1 c
butter
2 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla
3/4 c
sour cream
1 pkg
hersheys cinnamon chips
3 Tbsp
sugar
3 tsp
cinnamon

Directions Step-By-Step

Cream butter, sugar, salt and cinnamon until fluffy. Add eggs and mix well.

Add vanilla and sour cream and mix well.

Mix flour and baking powder in a separate bowl. Add to wet ingredients and mix until all combined.

Add cinnamon chips and stir into batter. Set aside.

Spoon batter into 4 mini loaf pans until about 3/4 full. Mix 3 Tbs sugar and 3 tsp cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle over the batter in each loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 38 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan.

Flavor was great, however with greased and floured pans they still stuck. It's the cinnamon chips that are the culprits. Really yum.

The instructions call for salt and it is not in the ingredient list. I added a teaspoon. What is the actual for the recipe?

Lana, I like to use Bakers Joy spray to spray my baking pans. It already has flour in it. You might have to bake it a little longer, making sure it doesn't burn.

II followed the recipe to a "T" and it wouldn't get done. Any suggestions
And it wouldn't even come out of my mini pans! :-(
